This heat sink is essential when using the Aquatec 250 psi diaphragm bypass pump or the 220 psi Aquatec pump. Without a heat sink fitted, the motor cannot dissipate heat as effectively, which may shorten pump lifespan. If your existing pump already has a heat sink installed, it can be removed and re‑used on your new pump.
