The pump connects to your machine’s solution line using the 3/8” male elbow with 5/16” hose barb, secured by the plastic hose clip, and typically paired with the standard red pressure hose for reliable solution delivery.
Heat Sink Radiator – essential for correct cooling and pump lifespan
This Aquatec 250 psi pump must be used with a heat sink radiator to ensure correct cooling and long‑term reliability. The heat sink dissipates heat from the motor during operation, helping prevent overheating and maintaining stable performance. Important compatibility information
This 250 psi diaphragm bypass pump is only recommended for Ashbys machines that were factory‑built or Ashbys‑upgraded to the 250 psi specification. These machines include our custom Ashbys bypass plumbing system, designed specifically to help the pump run cooler, reduce internal stress, and significantly extend pump lifespan.
Machines without this bypass system will not allow the pump to operate at its optimum temperature or duty cycle. For this reason, we recommend purchasing this pump only if your machine has previously been fitted with the Ashbys 250 psi upgrade (either from new or during service/repair work at Ashbys).
