Safety back-up thermostat for professional carpet cleaning machines
This fixed thermostat is the safety back-up temperature control used on the Ashbys Portable V2 SteamMate and on all Ashbys Enforcer and Ashbys Ninja professional carpet cleaning machines fitted with a built-in V2 SteamMate inline heat exchanger.
Mounted directly to the copper heating coil
The thermostat is fixed directly onto the copper heating coil of the V2 SteamMate. From this position it continuously monitors the coil temperature. If the main adjustable thermostat fails or allows the system to overheat, this fixed thermostat instantly cuts power to the heater to protect the heat exchanger, the machine and the operator.
Works alongside the main adjustable thermostat
On the Portable V2 SteamMate, this fixed thermostat provides safety back-up to the main adjustable thermostat: Adjustable Thermostat – Portable V2 SteamMate .
On machines fitted with a built-in V2 SteamMate inline heat exchanger, it provides safety back-up to the main adjustable thermostat used on Ashbys Enforcer and Ashbys Ninja machines: Adjustable Thermostat – Enforcer, Ninja & Diamondback .
These thermostats work together to ensure the V2 SteamMate operates safely and reliably under professional carpet cleaning conditions.
