This genuine Ashbys adjustable thermostat with 2 m capillary tube is designed for use in the Enforcer Carpet Cleaning Machine, Ninja Carpet Cleaning Machine, and Diamondback Carpet Cleaning Machine. Please note: this thermostat is not compatible with the Portable V2 SteamMate.

Professional Use

This thermostat controls the temperature once either the standard in‑tank solution heater or the built‑in V2 SteamMate inline heat exchanger heating system is switched on. It ensures safe, consistent heating performance during professional carpet cleaning work.

Temperature Restrictor Pin

The kit includes a restrictor pin set to limit the maximum temperature the dial can reach:

For in‑tank heating systems, set the restrictor pin so the dial does not exceed 60 °C.
For V2 SteamMate inline heat exchangers, set the restrictor pin so the dial does not exceed 110 °C.

Signs of Replacement Needed

A common sign that this thermostat requires replacement is when the dial no longer audibly clicks at ambient temperature when turned past that point. Another clear indicator is that the heater does not operate as expected once switched on.
