Ashbys White Coloured Spring – for Pressure Regulator Valve on 1000 psi Pump System
Genuine Ashbys replacement spring. This white-coloured spring is fitted inside the pressure regulator valve used on Pumptec-based 1000 psi pump systems. It provides the correct calibrated tension required for smooth, accurate pressure adjustment at very high operating pressures.
Suitable for 1000 psi Pumptec Pump Systems
Ashbys does not manufacture or recommend 1000 psi carpet cleaning machines, as this pressure is far above the requirements of carpet or upholstery cleaning. This spring is intended only for Pumptec pump systems fitted with a 1000 psi pump head and compatible pressure regulator valve.
What This Spring Does
The white spring controls the internal resistance of the regulator valve, allowing the operator to fine‑tune solution pressure up to 1000 psi. A weakened or corroded spring can cause pressure drift, inconsistent spray, or difficulty maintaining set pressure during high‑demand applications.
When to Replace
We recommend replacing this spring whenever servicing or rebuilding a 1000 psi pressure regulator valve, especially if:
- Pressure fluctuates during use
- The regulator feels loose or overly stiff
- Pressure cannot be set accurately
- The valve has been stripped for cleaning or maintenance
