What This Spring Does
The 800 psi spring controls the internal resistance of the regulator valve, allowing the operator to fine‑tune solution pressure up to 800 psi. A weakened or corroded spring can cause pressure drift, inconsistent spray, or difficulty maintaining set pressure during high‑demand cleaning.
When to Replace
We recommend replacing this spring whenever servicing or rebuilding the 800 psi pressure regulator valve, especially if:
- Pressure fluctuates during use
- The regulator feels loose or overly stiff
- Pressure cannot be set accurately
- The valve has been stripped for cleaning or maintenance
