In our experience of using these pumps over many years, we have found that vibration can sometimes allow the pump‑head bolts to work loose, which may lead to leaks. To reduce this risk, Ashbys fits spring washers to the pump head as a factory modification. This improvement helps keep bolts secure and reduces the likelihood of leakage in long‑term use.
