Back‑Up Thermostat
This fixed thermostat acts as a back‑up safety control to the Ashbys Adjustable Thermostat with 2 m Capillary Tube. If the adjustable thermostat fails, the heater would continue heating unchecked, which can over‑heat and damage the water pump head. This fixed ceramic thermostat prevents that by cutting power to the heating element once its safe operating temperature is reached.
