Critical Electrical Warning – 240 VDC Only (NOT 240V AC)
This motor is rated 240 VDC and must be supplied with DC power from a suitable rectifier. It is not a 240V AC mains motor.
Do NOT connect this motor directly to 240V AC. Doing so will immediately damage the motor (it will overheat, smoke and fail) and is unsafe. A rectifier is essential to convert 240V AC to the correct 240 VDC supply.
Rectifier Required – Motor Cannot Operate Without One
This product is supplied as the motor only. A rectifier is mandatory for correct operation. Without a rectifier, the motor cannot run and will be permanently damaged if connected to AC mains.
